The location of the land art symposium “Borderland Space” is situated on the eastern outskirts of the village of Mohrytsia (Sumy region, Ukraine), near an abandoned chalk quarry on the banks of the Psel River. It comprises several zones:

• Land Art Symposium Camping — a space for a tent camp and workshops; it includes metal trailers for storing equipment, a ceramic workshop, and a kiln for firing ceramics.
• “Communication Circle” — an area for lectures, conversations, and relaxation, with a fireplace at its centre.
• “AfterGarden” — a group of art objects created using dried tree trunks, arranged along the perimeter of the symposium location.
• Land Art Park — featuring stationary, authorial land art objects by the artists.
• Chalk Quarry — with an observation deck overlooking the floodplain of the Psel River.
• Mohrytsia Reserve — a landscape reserve of local importance in Ukraine, part of the nature reserve fund of the Sumy region.
• Mohrytsia Settlement, located on a high cape of the original bank of the Psel River, with an observation deck overlooking the settlements that served as strongholds along the land trade route from the Volga Bulgaria to Kyiv, a branch of the transnational Silk Road (Velyka Rybetsia and Hornal settlements), as well as the crossing at the foot of the Mohrytsia settlement (eighth — thirteenth centuries).
• Mohrytsia Settlement with Burial Mound, dating from the eighth — thirteenth centuries, with a village around it; it was the centre of one of the small tribes of the Siverian Union and played an important role in the trade operations of the Khazar Qaghanate and in maintaining the security of the Silk Road.
